Parsi (Pumpkin) ko Mala

$55.00 $40.00

Metallic, copper coloured, pumpkin (parsi) shaped beads made from polymer clay are decorated with tiny mirrors and graphic black and white designs from canes hand made by the ladies of Samunnat Nepal. Shisha means “glass” and describes the mirrorwork of Persian embriodery which was embraced wholeheartedly and delightedly all over the Indian sub continent. The beads are combined with black Czech seed beads and strung on high quality Japanese beading wire with a silver S clasp. The necklace is approx. 51 cm (20″) long and looks gorgeous with black or white.
This necklace is 53 cm long including the silver clasp and some of the beads have been embellished like those we see on Tibetan ladies in our town.
